MYTHRI – St. Joseph Dental College Alumni Association
Established: January 23, 2014
The MYTHRI St. Joseph Dental College Alumni Association was founded with the vision of creating a strong professional and personal network among alumni, students, and faculty of SJDC. Our association plays a crucial role in mentoring current students, offering career guidance, improving academic infrastructure, and contributing to various humanitarian and community initiatives.
We are committed to:
- Mentorship and Career Development: Connecting experienced alumni with students and recent graduates.
- Academic Support: Enhancing resources and infrastructure.
- Community Outreach: Supporting those in need through timely and thoughtful initiatives.
Our Projects
- SPURTHI DHATA
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided groceries and essential supplies to the non-teaching staff of SJDC, acknowledging their vital role and supporting them during uncertain times.
- CHEYUTHA
Through “Cheyutha,” we extended financial and emotional support to two young children suffering from critical heart conditions, helping them receive the necessary medical treatment.
- AROGYADHATA
This initiative aimed to assist a fellow alumnus who was undergoing a major surgery due to ill health. The association rallied together to provide both financial and moral support.
- SMARANA
In loving memory of Dr. Ali Basha (USA), who left us too soon, a cricket tournament was organized for students, fostering unity and remembrance through sports.
- SAHAYATHA
When our alumnus Dr. Sai Charan shared the devastating news about his mother’s battle with cancer, the association unanimously decided to support his family, showing the true spirit of solidarity.
- PRANADHATA
Upon learning that one of our batchmates was in a coma due to a severe head injury, the association quickly mobilized resources and support to assist the family in continuing her treatment.
- SJDC ALUMNI ANNUAL MEET
This annual event brings together alumni leaders to discuss budget allocations, student welfare, and infrastructure development at SJDC and its General Hospital, aiming to raise the academic and professional standards of our institution.
- DISHA NIRDESHANA
A career guidance program conducted every year by alumni for final-year students and interns, providing insights into career paths, postgraduate education, and professional skills.
