Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for M.D.S admissions:
- NEET Qualification:
- Must have secured the required cutoff score in NEET MDS Entrance Examination.
- Internship Completion:
- Candidates who have completed their internship must submit an Internship Completion Certificate.
- Those yet to complete must submit a Provisional Internship Completion Certificate as per format in Annexure – IV C of NTRUHS guidelines.
- Existing PG Candidates:
- Candidates already pursuing a PG Degree/Diploma must discontinue the course, pay the requisite bond amount, and return any stipend drawn.
- A certificate from the Head of Institution confirming discontinuation must be submitted in Annexure – II of NTRUHS.
- Registration:
- Must hold valid Dental Council Registration (with DCI or any State Dental Council).
- Educational Qualification:
- Should possess a BDS degree from Dr. NTRUHS or any other recognized university.
- Graduates of MBBS/BDS from an MCI/DCI recognized institution are also eligible.
- Nationality:
- Must be an Indian National, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), or holder of a Citizen of Indian Origin (OCI) card.
Selection Procedure
- Selection is conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada.
- Based on the merit list prepared as per NEET MDS scores, following the Government Orders (G.O.s) issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
