Presently HOD of conservative dentistry and endodontics. He joined St. Joseph Dental College in the year 2009 and has been working since then with a cumulative academic experience of 15 years. Did BDS from JSS Dental College, Mysore in the year 2005 and completed MDS from SDM College of Dental Sciences, Dharwad in the year 2009. In the year 2017 was awarded an IACDE research grant with the amount of Rs.50,000. Actively participated as scientific co-convener for the 33rd IACDE national conference at Vijayawada 2018 and as scientific chairman for the 22nd IACDE national PG convention in Rajahmundry 2022. He has delivered various keynote lectures for various CD programs conducted at the university level and also recently presented atthe National IACDE conference in Kolkata in 2023. He presented the research paper at the IACDE national conference in Bhopal in the year 2022 for which the best paper was awarded. He has designed a few scientific models like fluid filtration, saliva sterilizer, intrapulpal pressure simulation model, composite preheater, thermocycler, microbubble generator, laminar airflow, and anaerobic chamber. He has designed a device named “Guttapercha sterilization equipment” for which a patent has been applied.
He has a keen interest in research about the microbiology of root canals and has started the Nanoscience and Oral Microbiology Research Centre in the present institute.
