Dr Sitaram Prasad Kasina has earned his bachelors degree in dentistry from Sri Rajiv Gandhi Dental college, Banglore in October 2005 and Masters in dental surgery in prosthodontics, crown&bridge and oral implantology from JSS Dental college, Mysore in may 2010. He is a Fellow of both surgical and prosthetic sections of International Congress of Oral Implantologists, USA since 2012. He is a diplomate of world congress of oral implantologists since 2016. He was trained in advanced bone grafting and sinus lift procedures under the mentorship of Dr Samuel Lee who is the pioneer in Crestal window sinus Grafting technique. He also underwent training in mandibular nerve lateralization and bypass techniques in management of atrophic mandible with oral implants. He was trained in zygomatic implants under mentorship of Dr Dov Kischinovsky for both diagnostic, surgical and prosthetic procedures.
He has various publications to his credit in pubmed indexed journals. His areas of interest are implantology, full mouth rehabilitation, Smile designing, cast partial dentures, BPS dentures, digital prosthodontics and precision attachments.
He is presently working as Professor & head of the Department of prosthodontics ,crown and bridge at st joseph dental college.
