This is done as a mark of respect to the first postgraduate teacher of Oral pathology for his contribution in establishing and developing the subject of Oral Pathology in India.The day concedesthe role of oral pathologist in establishing a conclusive diagnosis majority of the times. Their hindsight role in designing the management of various diseases is much valued.
