I am pleased to present a comprehensive report on the Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics Day celebrations held at our department. The event encompassed various activities aimed at fostering awareness, education, and innovation within our field. Below is a detailed overview of the day’s proceedings:

  1. New Microscope Inauguration: The day commenced with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art microscope, marking a significant milestone in our department’s technological advancement by Rev F G Moses garu, Secretary and Correspondent of St. Joseph Dental College, in the presence of F Felix, Dr.SleevaRaju, Principal, Dr.Anuradha, Vice Principal, all department HOD’sThe microscope, equipped with cutting-edge features, promises to enhance precision and efficiency in our clinical and research endeavors. We reneamed the microsurgery department into Precision Endo Theatre.
  2. Interactive Touch Panel Inauguration: In line with our commitment to embracing modern educational tools, we unveiled an interactive touch panel designed to facilitate dynamic teaching and learning experiences. This interactive technology fosters engagement and collaboration among students and faculty members, thereby enriching the educational environment.
  3. Creation of new Instagram page: page name includes sjdc_cons_endocreating an Instagram page dedicated to Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics can be an effective way to share valuable information, raise awareness, and engage with your audience.
  4. New Device Discoveries and their function:
    • Composite Preheater: The introduction of the composite preheater represents a leap forward in optimizing restorative procedures. By preheating composite materials to optimal temperatures, this device enhances handling properties and improves restoration outcomes.
    • Glass Bead Sterilizer: Ensuring the highest standards of infection control, the glass bead sterilizer provides a rapid and effective method for sterilizing dental instruments. Its efficiency and convenience contribute to maintaining a safe clinical environment.
    • Syringe Warmer: The syringe warmer is used to warm the sodium hypochlorite solution to be used as root canal irrigant. Heating the sodium hypochlorite to 600Cenhances root canal disinfection. These three devices are used as single innovation.
    • UV Disinfectant Chamber: With heightened emphasis on infection prevention, the UV disinfectant chamber offers a reliable solution for sterilizing clinical surfaces and equipment. Its use of ultraviolet light technology ensures thorough disinfection, minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.
  5. Evening Flash Mob Awareness at Central Plaza Eluru: The celebrations culminated in an engaging flash mob awareness event at Central Plaza Eluru, aimed at promoting oral health awareness among the wider community. Through lively performances and interactive activities, we endeavored to disseminate important messages regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, esthetic dentistry, root canal treatment, trauma care, endodontic microsurgeryand the significance of regular dental check-ups.In conclusion, the Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics Day celebrations were a resounding success, encompassing moments of innovation, education, and community outreach. These initiatives not only elevate our department’s profile but also reinforce our commitment to advancing dental care and promoting oral health awareness.We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, and collaborators who contributed to the success of this event.
