Eligibility

The applicant for admission to the Post Graduate Degree in Dental Surgery must have a BDS Degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) of a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India and must have permanent registration with any State Dental Council. The period of one year experience/Internship shall be calculated as on 31st March of the current year.

NOTE

  1. The candidate shall produce a certificate of one year experience/ internship from with any State Dental Council, either from an institution or from a Registered Dental practitioner.
  2. The college from where the candidate has passed BDS must be recognized college by the Dental Council of India

The admission for MDS Merit payment seats is through Dental Post Graduate entrance examination NEET PG conducted by the Government of India. If a student desires to gain admission for a Management seat he/she may contact.

Duration: The MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) degree Programme is a minimum 3 years Programme.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH APPLICATION FORM FOR MDS

  1. Xerox copies of all memoranda of marks from First BDS to Final BDS
  2. Xerox copy of Registration Certificate from the respective State Dental Council
  3. Xerox copy of the internship completion Certificate.
  4. Xerox copy of Provisional or Original BDS certificate
  5. Xerox copy of conduct and character certificate of the college in which last studied.
  6. Xerox copy of Study Certificate of BDS Course
  7. If not studied BDS in the State, 10 years Residence Certificate of the candidate/ parents in AP issued by the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Mandal revenue Officer with office seal
  8. If the candidate passed BDS from Government Dental College, Hyderabad,/ Government Dental College Vijayawada, he/ she has to produce study certificate from 6th to Intermediate
  9. Xerox copies of study certificate from 6th to Intermediate.
  10. Social status certificate (Permanent certificate)as in Performa appended to the supplication from issued by the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer.
  11. Physically challenged certificate issued by competent authority as specified in the regulations.
  12. Discontinuance certificate issued by the concerned Principal, in case of the candidates already studying MDS course.

NB: (i). All Xerox copies shall be attested.

(ii). Original should be produced at the time of Selections (The Originals will be returned to the candidate only after completion of course or at the time of relief either by resignation or by completion as per Regulation.

(iii). The Registration fee of application form for Entrance Test is included in the cost of Application Form. Hence the Candidates need not pay the Registration fee at the time of submission of Application Form

Fees: Course fee will be as prescribed by the State Government.
