His Excellency Most Rev..Bishop Jaya Rao Polimera is the Chairman of the St. Joseph Dental College & Hospital. He is also the Bishop of Eluru having been elected and appointed as the 2nd Bishop of Eluru Dioceses. He is a reputed educationist.

He is a mention –worthy theologian. He was admitted into seminary as early as 1981and did his B.Ph & B.Th and was ordained as a Priest in the year 1992 at Our Lady of Fathima Cathedral, Warangal and thereafter continually served the Dioceses in various position Viz: Asst. Priest Print in Karimnagar, Parish priest in Warangal, Rector & Parish Priest in Warangal, Diocesan Youth Director & Kolping Director in Warangal Diocese and Associate Pastor in the United States of America.

He is an excellent administrator too. He held several offices such as Dean Fatimanagar Deanery, Diocesan Senate member, member of the Diocesan Councilor, Member of Diocesan Marriage Tribunals, Member in Education committees, Trusty member of Medical College & Medicare Hospital and Associate Vicar at RCM Church, Michigan, USA..He served as member Bishop for National Youth Commission.

He also held positions like –General Secretary Treasurer of TCBC, Episcopal Sub-delegate to the Major Seminaries, Chairman for APSSS, Chairman for Canon Law & Legislative tests commission, Chairman of commission for Family, Chairman for Youth Commission, and Chairman for SC/BC Commission. He is excellent in Telugu & English and moderate in Hindi and Italian languages.
