Dr. Muthyala Pavana Sandya is a distinguished professional in the field of dentistry, with a specialization in Public Health Dentistry. She holds an MDS and BDS degree from Narayana Dental College, Nellore, and secured the 33rd rank in the Andhra Pradesh Postgraduate Dental Entrance Exam (APPG).Currently, she is the Head of the Public Health Dentistry Department at St. Joseph Dental College, Eluru. Her commitment to excellence in dental education and promoting oral health within the community is commendable. As the NSS program officer, she actively involves students in various community service projects and also guides them in their research endeavours, thereby contributing to the advancement of dental science.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr Sandya takes immense pride in mentoring and motivating students during their challenging times. She provides support and encouragement, helping them navigate their academic and personal journeys. Her passion for research is evident in her extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals, where she contributes significantly to the knowledge in Public Health Dentistry.

As a life member of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry (IAPHD), Dr. Sandya organizes dental camps in rural areas and conducts awareness programs on global health observances. She is a strong advocate for preventive dental care and community well-being.
