- 1.Entry / Exit must be noted in the Register/ software kept in the Library
2.To maintain absolute Silence
3.Library books are issued against borrower’s Card only
4.Books will be issued for a period of 15 days
5.Students are under obligation to return the books on or before the given due date.
6.If the books are not returned on the due date an overdue charge of Rs. 5/- per day will be charged for the default period
7.Books may be renewed on request at the discretion of the Librarian.
8.Borrower cards are not transferable
9. The Library authority shall have the power to refuse to issue a book to any student / has the authority to recall any book without assigning any reason.
10. Dog- eating the page of a book, marking or writing therein with ink or pencil, tearing or taking out its pages, or damaging it or constituting injury to the book is a serious offence, unless the borrower points out the injured at the time of borrowing the book he / she shall be required to replace the book or its 3 times’ price.
11. All Students are supposed to return the library book before one week of commencement of Final Examinations. Otherwise ‘No Due Certificate’ will not be issued.
12. Other than the Note books, no personal belongings will be allowed into the library.
13. 24 Reading room is to be used only for studying own books without entering into the main library.
14. Cell phones are to be switched off before entering into the Library. Keeping the cell phones in vibration mode is also not permissible. A fine will be imposed of Rs. 100/- against the defaulters.
15. Loss of Borrowers card should be reported immediately at the Circulation Counter in the Library. Duplicate card will be issued on payment of Rs.15/-
16. Certificate for Best Library User Award will be given to 3 students during the college Annual Day celebration, based on the number of visits and usage of the facilities available in the Library.
